A full, comprehensive abdominal ultrasound is performed allowing thorough evaluation of all abdominal organs and structures. Included in all abdominal ultrasounds is an interpretation by board-certified veterinary internist, Dr. Larson at Music City Pet Internal Medicine Solutions, with the option to add a comprehensive consultation for an additional fee.
Full Doppler echocardiograms are performed on every case. An Oncura professional sonographer remotely walks us through every study to ensure quality diagnostic imaging. All echos are interpreted by a board-certified cardiologist with the option to add a comprehensive consultation for an additional fee.
A highly trained, experienced and credentialed veterinary technician will show up at your clinic to perform comprehensive ultrasound image capture.
This involves using an ultrasound machine to capture images of the animal's internal structures. Franimal's role is to ensure accurate and high-quality image capture during this process.
Once the ultrasound images are captured, Franimal's sends them to a third-party telemedicine service.
This service connects us with board-certified veterinary specialists, such as radiologists, internists, or cardiologists. These specialists will remotely review and interpret the ultrasound images.
The specialist who reviews the images prepares an official ultrasound report. This report contains ultrasound findings, differential diagnoses and recommended next diagnostic steps.
The finalized report is then emailed directly to your veterinary clinic. A public link to the ultrasound imaging may be emailed to you upon request.
Feel free to reach out by using any of the convenient methods below. Someone will respond shortly (within business hours).
Please use the Request Appointment tab to complete our online form and attach pertinent medical records easily.
Open today | 09:00 am – 12:00 pm |
Scans are performed most Tuesdays & Thursdays +/- an additional weekday as needed for overflow. Any special requests must be made in advance.
