Cases involving pets under two years of age are typically congenital in nature and should be referred to a cardiologist. Due to the complex nature of such cases (often requiring advanced and detailed imaging as well as ancillary diagnostics) please remember that we do not perform echocardiograms for cases involving known or suspected congenital cardiac disease
Considering this information, Franimal's asks you refer cases involving young pets (<2 years of age) in need of cardiac evaluation to either a cardiologist or other mobile service for their work-up.
